Car Towing Sharjah & Northern Emirates
Inter-Emirate Recovery from Dubai
Around 500,000 vehicles cross the Dubai-Sharjah border daily. Breakdowns in the commuter corridors, the Sharjah residential areas, and further north into Ajman and RAK are a regular part of what we handle. Beyond Sharjah, the distances are longer and we say so on the call — RAK is 100 kilometres from central Dubai. Fujairah requires crossing the Hajar Mountains. We cover both, but we don’t quote 30 minutes to a vehicle stranded past Khor Fakkan.

What Changes When the Job Crosses an Emirate Boundary
Sharjah Police manage road incidents inside Sharjah — not Dubai Police. For accident recoveries, the police report and clearance to move the vehicle follow Sharjah procedure. We know this distinction and handle it correctly. Pricing reflects the distance and is confirmed on the call before dispatch — not added afterward.

Areas We Cover in Sharjah
The coverage below isn’t a list for its own sake — each area has its own access characteristic that affects how a towing job runs.
Border Corridor — Al Nahda, Al Ittihad Road
The approach from Abu Hail through to the Sharjah boundary near Samnan is the UAE’s most congested road section during peak hours. A breakdown here needs fast response. We approach from the Dubai side and confirm the specific position on the call — the border corridor is long and the exact location determines the approach route.
Sharjah City — Al Majaz, Muwaileh, Al Qasimia
Consistent call volume from Dubai residents living in Sharjah who commute daily. Most of these jobs involve collecting the vehicle in Sharjah and delivering to a Dubai workshop in Al Quoz or Ras Al Khor. Response outside peak hours runs 25 to 35 minutes. Peak hour Al Ittihad Road traffic adds 15 to 25 minutes — we account for this in the ETA, not ignore it.
Sharjah Industrial — Sajaa and Hamriyah Free Zone
Commercial vehicle breakdowns in the Sajaa industrial district follow the same pattern as Al Quoz calls — workshop transfers, fleet van breakdowns, light commercial units. Hamriyah Free Zone has its own gate access system. Company name, warehouse number, and the relevant gate are confirmed before the truck leaves Dubai. An operator arriving without that information gets held at the gate.
University City of Sharjah
Older, less-maintained student vehicles, flat batteries, and tyre failures are the most frequent call type here. Most deliveries go to Dubai workshops. Response runs 30 to 40 minutes outside rush hours.
Other Areas We Cover
Ajman
Compact road network, straightforward access via the E611. Al Nuaimia, Al Rawda, and the Ajman corniche generate most private vehicle calls. The Ajman Free Zone near the port follows the same gate confirmation process as Hamriyah. Response to central Ajman runs 35 to 50 minutes — the distance is short but the Sharjah corridor congestion is the variable that matters.
Ras Al Khaimah
100 kilometres from central Dubai. The drive via E611 north takes 60 to 80 minutes under normal conditions. A vehicle collected in Al Nakheel or the RAK city centre and delivered to a Dubai workshop is a two to three hour operation door to door. We handle these jobs with the same flatbed and the same documentation process — we just state the timeline honestly.
RAK Free Zone follows the same gate confirmation requirement as JAFZA and Hamriyah. Calls from Al Rams and the northern RAK areas add 15 to 20 minutes to the response above.
Fujairah and the East Coast
The Masafi Road (E88) through the Hajar Mountains takes 90 to 120 minutes from central Dubai. Mobile signal is limited in the mountain passes — send a WhatsApp location pin before signal drops. A collection from Fujairah city and return to Dubai is a full-day operation. We confirm this on the call.
For breakdowns on the Masafi Road mid-journey — Sharjah territory in the mountain sections, Fujairah after the pass — response runs 60 to 80 minutes to the mid-point. Limited hard shoulder in the mountain sections means staying in the vehicle is the safest option while waiting.
Umm Al Quwain
Occasional calls from the residential and coastal areas along the E11 north of Ajman. Small road network, simple access. Response runs 50 to 65 minutes from Dubai positioning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — this is the most common inter-emirate job we handle. Confirm collection point and destination on the call. Condition documented before loading, signed off at delivery.
Sharjah Police issue the report and clear the vehicle for transport. Give us the police report number before we depart — it travels with the vehicle to the receiving workshop. We don’t load a post-accident vehicle without police clearance confirmed.
Yes — distance-based. Both confirmed on the call before dispatch. No additions at delivery.
Yes. A workshop delivering a repaired vehicle to a customer in RAK, or a Dubai resident buying a vehicle at a Sharjah auction — both directions are covered.
Send a WhatsApp location pin immediately while signal holds. Note the last kilometre marker or landmark visible. Stay in the vehicle — the mountain sections have limited shoulder space. Response from Dubai to the mid-Masafi section runs 60 to 80 minutes.
Yes. Company name, plot number, and gate reference confirmed before departure. Same process as JAFZA.
