Car Towing Dubai Industrial Zones

Al Quoz, Ras Al Khor, Al Qusais and Nadd Al Hamar

The calls that come from Dubai’s industrial areas are different from residential breakdowns. A workshop owner who needs a customer’s vehicle moved between bays isn’t in distress — he needs a reliable flatbed that shows up when it says it will and doesn’t damage what it’s carrying. A fleet operator whose HiAce broke down on a Ras Al Khor service road needs the van collected and delivered to a specific workshop, not just moved to the nearest available location. A parts distributor whose driver is stuck in Al Qusais Industrial Area 3 needs someone who knows which access road reaches that section without a 20-minute detour.

We work with workshops, fleet operators, and businesses across Dubai’s industrial zones regularly. The calls are commercial in nature and we handle them that way — accurate ETAs, confirmed drop-off before loading, and operators who know Al Quoz 2 from Al Quoz 4.

How Industrial Zone Calls Differ from Standard Breakdowns

A private driver stranded on a residential street needs reassurance and speed. A workshop owner or fleet manager needs accuracy and reliability — and usually has a specific destination in mind before the call ends.

Workshop-to-workshop transfers are a significant portion of what we handle in these zones. A vehicle dropped at a body shop in Al Quoz 1 that needs specialist mechanical work done at a different unit in Al Quoz 3. A car collected from a customer in Jumeirah and delivered directly to a paint shop in Nadd Al Hamar. A post-accident vehicle moved from a police impound in Al Qusais to a panel beater in Ras Al Khor. In every case, the destination is known before loading and the condition is documented at both ends.

Fleet breakdown calls follow a similar pattern. The fleet manager already knows where the vehicle needs to go — the job is picking it up from where it stopped and getting it there without further delay to the business operation it was part of.

Areas We Cover

The coverage below isn’t a list for its own sake — each area has its own access characteristic that affects how a towing job runs.

Al Quoz Industrial Area — Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4

Al Quoz is the highest-volume area in our industrial zone operations — the concentration of auto workshops, panel beaters, tyre shops, and service centres in these four zones means we’re here multiple times daily. The zones are not interchangeable in terms of access: Al Quoz 1 and 2 are accessed primarily from the Sheikh Zayed Road service road running south from the Interchange 1 direction, while Al Quoz 3 and 4 sit deeper into the industrial block and are more efficiently reached from the Al Khail Road exit toward Umm Al Sheif. Knowing which zone a workshop is in before dispatching saves the driver circling the service road looking for an entrance that doesn’t connect where they expect.

Ras Al Khor Industrial Area — Zones 1, 2 and 3

Ras Al Khor sits east of the creek, bordering the wildlife sanctuary on one side and the city’s main wholesale and light manufacturing district on the other. Access from the Ras Al Khor Road is the primary approach for zones 1 and 2. Zone 3 sits further north toward Nadd Al Hamar and is reached most efficiently from the Al Awir Road direction. The roads in Ras Al Khor are wider than Al Quoz’s service lanes and the vehicle access for flatbeds is generally more straightforward — but the zone numbering on GPS applications doesn’t always match the physical signage, which causes confusion for operators unfamiliar with the area.

Al Qusais Industrial Area — Zones 1 through 5

Al Qusais Industrial stretches north toward the Sharjah border and generates a consistent mix of light commercial vehicle breakdowns and workshop transfer jobs. Zone 1 and 2 are closest to the Al Ittihad Road approach and carry significant traffic from businesses supplying the adjacent retail and commercial areas. Zones 4 and 5 sit deeper toward the residential Al Twar district boundary and are quieter in terms of through traffic but active in light manufacturing and storage businesses.

Nadd Al Hamar

Adjacent to Ras Al Khor, Nadd Al Hamar sits between the industrial corridor and the older residential areas east of the creek. It generates a specific mix of calls — light industrial unit breakdowns during working hours, and residential vehicle calls from the surrounding community outside of business hours. Several specialist auto workshops operate in Nadd Al Hamar, and workshop-to-workshop transfers between here and Al Quoz are a regular run.

Al Khabaisi and Umm Ramool

These areas, bordering the Al Garhoud commercial district and close to Dubai International Airport’s freight zone, generate commercial vehicle breakdowns from logistics and supply businesses operating near the port and airport cargo facilities. The roads are accessible for flatbeds and the call types are predominantly commercial.

Response Time — Industrial Zones

Al Quoz calls are typically 15 to 25 minutes — we run through this area frequently enough that a unit is rarely far away. Ras Al Khor runs 20 to 30 minutes. Al Qusais Industrial sits at 25 to 35 minutes depending on the zone number and the Al Ittihad Road traffic at the time of call. Nadd Al Hamar is 20 to 30 minutes. During the midday heat break when traffic in these industrial areas slows significantly — roughly 1pm to 3pm — access through the service roads can add 10 minutes to the estimates above.

For fleet operators who need predictable response, calling with as much lead time as possible allows us to route a unit in advance rather than dispatch reactively.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you handle workshop-to-workshop transfers on a regular schedule?
Yes. If a body shop, mechanical workshop, or specialist centre needs regular vehicle transfers — daily or weekly — we accommodate planned jobs alongside reactive breakdown calls. Confirm the collection point, destination, and preferred timing window when you call. We document condition at both ends on every transfer regardless of how routine the job is.
Do you know the access routes into Al Quoz 3 and 4?

Yes. The service road approach from Sheikh Zayed Road reaches Al Quoz 1 and 2 efficiently. Al Quoz 3 and 4 are better accessed from the Al Khail Road exit — the service road through Al Quoz 1 and 2 to reach 3 and 4 is possible but slower at busy times. When you give us the workshop address, we confirm the zone and use the right approach without needing the driver to direct us in.

Can you collect a vehicle from police impound storage and deliver to a workshop?
Yes. Confirm the release paperwork is cleared before calling — a truck arriving at a storage facility where the vehicle hasn’t been released yet cannot load. Once you have confirmation the vehicle is cleared for collection, call us with the storage location and the destination workshop. We handle the rest.
My fleet van broke down in Ras Al Khor Zone 3 — how do I get it to our workshop in Al Qusais?

Call with the location details — zone number and the nearest unit or road name — and the destination address. We dispatch from the closest available unit, confirm the van’s condition and whether it’s loadable from its current position, and deliver directly to your workshop. The Al Awir Road approach to Ras Al Khor Zone 3 and the Al Ittihad Road approach to Al Qusais Industrial is a route our drivers run regularly.

Do you document vehicle condition for workshop transfers?

Yes, on every job. Photographs at collection and at delivery. If the vehicle goes through our hands between a customer and a workshop, both parties have a condition record. This matters when a workshop needs to demonstrate to a customer that damage existed before the vehicle arrived, or when an insurer requires documented chain of custody for a post-accident repair.

Can you move a vehicle with a seized transmission that's in neutral?

Depends on the drivetrain configuration. A front-wheel-drive vehicle with a seized automatic transmission can be loaded on a flatbed with the rear wheels on the ground if necessary. An AWD or 4WD with a locked transfer case cannot have any wheels on the ground during transport — it needs to go fully on the flatbed. Tell us the vehicle make, model, and drivetrain when you call so we dispatch with the correct equipment.
